Taikosource.com Q&A Session: How to learn Taiko in Japan

This is great news! The Taiko Community Alliance and TaikoSource will host a questions and answers session about how to learn Taiko in Japan on Saturday May 10 this week, at 16:00 Pacific Standard Time (PST). For those in Europe, that would be 01:00 Central European Time (CET) in the morning on Sunday May 11. The event will also kick off a new article section by guest writers:

TaikoSource will be launching a new article section, featuring guest writers discussing a variety of topics. The first series will be about Learning Taiko in Japan, related to TaikoSource’s new Learning section that features information for people interested in studying taiko both in Japan and the United States. In coordination with the launch of this article series, TaikoSource and the Taiko Community Alliance will be hosting an Online Q&A session with the Learning Taiko in Japan series contributors: Chris Holland (Amanojaku, Tokyo, Japan), Joe Mignano (Nihon Taiko Dojo, Tokyo, Japan), and Joe Small (UCLA, Eitetsu Fu-Un no Kai, Tokyo, Japan). The Q&A will be hosted by myself, Benjamin Pachter, TaikoSource owner and chair of the TCA Online Resource Content Committee.

The session will be hosted on the Livestream portal. A URL has not been announced yet, but it will likely be hosted on the TCA livestream account.

You can find the announcement and further details on the event on the Taikosource homepage.
